‘A Day at the Races, pt. II: The English Gentry in the 1920s & 1930s’ is the second part of the exhibition that Photoconsortium curated for the European Fashion Heritage Association Tumblr, which showcases major trends and changes in fashion on the racecourse-runways, discoveres through early photographic images of French and British ladies.

After having wandered around the glamorous streets of Paris all across August, the second curation in September takes us to the fields of Ascott, as “the best place in England to see beautiful women in beautiful clothes.” (The Times, 1922)
