The Europeana DSI3 project to create access, interoperability, visibility and use of European cultural heritage in the Europeana platform has formally started in September, and the partners are already at work; now it is appraoching the kick-off meeting on 16-17 October 2017 in the nice Dutch seaside at Egmond aan Zee.

Next to being a celebration of the project and a feast for the community of partners, the concrete purpose of this meeting is of course to discuss details on the workplan and on individual and common tasks.

PHOTOCONSORTIUM, in its role of the expert hub for photography, is involved in the DSI3 project to:
– prosecute the action for metadata quality improvement of existing datasets in Europeana portal
– enlarge and maintain the Europeana Photography thematic collection
