Organised by SIMUP (Sistema Museale Pistoiese), Memories for the Future –  Strategies and Tools for Digitization in Museums will take place on February 4th, 2026 in Pistoia and will involve the Museums in the Pistoian Area (Tuscany, Italy), to reflect on the achievements made by the organization and spark discussion on the topic of museum digitization through a two-sessions roundtable.

The event, to which Photoconsortium’s member Museo della Carta di Pescia will take part, aims to provide an opportunity for scientific and institutional discussion on cultural heritage digitization processes, understood not only as technical practices but as cultural tools capable of impacting knowledge, preservation, and access, opening an institutional discussion on regional and national policies regarding innovation and digitization of cultural heritage in Italy.
