Written and curated by Polina Stoyanova (University of National and World Economy, Bulgaria), a new blogpost was published on Europeana during the Women’s History Month.
The blogpost, titled Ekaterina Karavelova – A pioneer of women’s rights, peace and social justice in Bulgaria, tells the story of Bulgarian activist Ekaterina Karavelova, her life, battles, accomplishments and legacy.
Some of the images included in the blogpost, some of which are owned by House Museum “Petko and Pencho Slaveykovi”, were aggregated on Europeana by Photoconsortium long-lasting member NALIS Foundation.
