On December 10-11 the Stati Generali del Digitale per la Cultura: Connettere patrimoni, costruire futuri (General States of Digital Science for Culture: Connect heritages, build futures) took place in Rome (Italy) with the objective of creating a forum for discussion, coordination, and shared planning among public institutions, the research community, cultural and creative businesses, and the developer community working in the digitalization of cultural heritage through two days of conferences, laboratories and a hackathon.
During the event, the General Director of Europeana Foundation Harry Verwayen presented the newest walking tour, Pisa, from train to tower, created by Photoconsortium in collaboration with Europeana to support sustainable tourism and the reuse of digitized cultural heritage on Europeana.
