On November 4th, on day 2 of EuroMed 2026 Conference organised in Cyprus during the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the EUreka3D Initiative has been presented during Session 9: Extended Memories: XR, VR and MR in Digital Cultural Heritage by project coordinator and Photoconsortium Vice President Antonella Fresa.

The presentation included the showcase of EUreka3D-XR achievements, with a special focus on the impact of the research communities of both the technological and cultural heritage fields, and the educational resources produced within the project, such as the OERs, online, self-paced courses, multilingual digitisation guidelines and the booklet. The event was a great success: nearly 900 people attended online from all over the world, including professionals, scholars, expert and more. To be submitted in December, the EUreka3D team is now working on a paper to be published among others that presented during the Conference, titled Stronger Together: Connecting Europe’s Cultural Heritage through 3D, XR and AI Innovation.
