Together with UNESCO WWAP and UNEP, Onewater is running the 2026 edition of their Walk of Water Photostory Contest, their sixth one since 2021.

This year’s edition of the Contest, organized by Onewater and supported by UNESCO WWAP and UNEP, is open for submissions from October 1 to November 30: participation is free of charge, offers USD 9,000 in total prize money.

The theme of WoW 2026 is “Out of Sight”, and it invites photographers to document the hidden side of water: wastewater, contamination, sanitation, and the people working behind the scenes to keep communities safe. Onewater invites photographers of all levels to submit photo stories that show how water shapes health, longevity, and well-being.
