Director of the Jalón Ángel Archive, dr. Pilar Irala-Hortal, and her colleague Alicia Mellén-Tomás, participated in this important event by Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, on 5-6 OCtober 2017.

The congress was focused on innovation in photographic research and teaching, and included discussions about the relationship of photographic heritage with digital technologies and social networks. Pilar exposed the work and curation of the Archive, which houses the heritage from influencer photographer Jalón Ángel. Alicia presented the case of Photoconsortium and Europeana, showcasing the importance of international networks for building relationships and synergies.
