Hosted at DBN in Frankfurt, this meeting organized by Europeana gathers representatives on national and thematic aggregators and data providers. An aggregator is an organisation providing a service that acquires, collects, validates, harmonises, stores, and often enriches data from cultural heritage institutions which have digitized collections, and then delivers this data for showcasing in Europeana.eu, the European digital library.

PHOTOCONSORTIUM was invited to join the forum as photography domain aggregator; the discussion is about important themes such as the aggregators’ representation in the Europeana Network Association and their involvement in strategic and operational decisions, a sustainable and efficient organization of the aggregation network, content strategy and more technical issues.
