Over the years, the “Walk of Water” Photo Contest has evolved into one of the world’s most significant visual storytelling banks on global water security, with over 20,000 entries from 110+ countries and exhibitions at venues as UNESCO HQ, Paris, the UN 2023 Water Conference in New York, Haus der Fotografie, UNESCO Almaty exhibit, and the UN Ocean Decade Conference in Barcelona.

For their upcoming cycle, Onewater is turning their lens to the most fundamental connection: Life. The theme “¡VIVA!” will illuminate how water shapes health, longevity, and communities—from safe sanitation in schools and healthy ecosystems to the mental health benefits of blue spaces.

Onewater’s 2026/2027 Theme: ¡VIVA!

onewaterblue_logoWhile planning for next year’s exhibitions and initiatives, Onewater is actively seeking strategic partners whose investment will sustain the contest’s global operations and leverage their network.

Why become a partner? A partnership offers top-tier brand visibility alongside UNESCO and it provides a unique tangible asset:

  • Access to World-Class Content: Gain access to a verified archive of over 20,000+ high-impact visuals, including works by Sony and World Press Photo Award winners.
  • Commercial Utility: Submissions include Creative Commons licensing, but partners are able to utilize these powerful images for their own annual reports, campaigns, and digital channels, solving their visual content needs for the year.
  • Global Dialogue: Co-host events and align their brand with major cultural or sports events, and critical solutions in health, nature conservation, and climate resilience.
