In the framework of 50s in Europe Kaleidoscope project, on 3rd December 2019 in Berlin we focused on the enrichment of metadata of photographs from Europeana related to the 1950s. The photographs were selected by the project consortium in preparation of the annotation campaign and are made available on a website specially developed for crowdsourcing. The workshop participants, all museum and library experts, joined the annotation campaign after an introductory presentation by Andreas Richter (SPK). Their contribution will help to improve the quality of existing content and the reuse of digital cultural heritage available through Europeana. In addition, the experts assessed the tool used for this annotation campaign and gave their feedback in an online survey conducted by Coventry University.
